Bob's Burgers Dinner

I love Bob's Burgers.  I mean, Bob does themed burgers!  We are two peas in pod... well, actually Linda and I have a lot more similarities.  But I LOVE this show!

For dinner, we had the "Baby, You Can Chive My Car" Burger, Lobsterfest Lobster Tails, Jimmy Pesto's Pesto Rolls, Mort's Stiff Cocktail, and Burger Cookies.

Baby, You Can Chive My Car Burger
I found this amazing recipe here and they even have their own cook book!   Check it out!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of milk
2 Tablespoons of Dijon mustard
1/2 cup of chopped chives
2 Tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of crumbled feta
10 circular pickle slices
1 egg
Vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup of flour
1lb of ground beef
4 hamburger buns
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
1. Heat up oil on medium high heat in a saucepan.
2. Mix flour, Cajun seasoning, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
3. In another small bowl, beat the egg.
4. Dip each pickle slice in the egg, then dredge in the flour and put in oil.
5. Leave in for a minute and flip sides.  Cook for another minute.
6. Take pickles out and place on a plate with a paper towel. Place in the microwave to keep the pickles warm.
7. In a large bowl, mix together the beef, salt, pepper, and feta cheese. Then make up your patties.  This recipe should make about four.
8. Cook the burgers up to your liking!
9. In a bowl, mix together chives, sour cream, and Dijon.
10. When the patties are done, put the burger on the bun.  Spread the chive mixture on the top part of the bun, and take four pickles as wheels around the car.

Lobsterfest Lobster Tails
Here is our recipe from our Californication dinner.

Sleepless in Seattle Dinner

Happy Valentine's Day week everyone!  We did our dinner a bit early because our schedules are crazy busy but we wanted time to celebrate this holiday by doing a dinner for Sleepless in Seattle.

For dinner, we had Pike Place Market Sushi, Devastated in Denver's Sandwich, Victoria's Twice Baked Potatoes, New York Cosmopolitan, and Tiramisu Dip.

Pike Place Market Sushi
I got this sushi from Hornbacher's but hear me out, it's soo good!  Seriously!

Devastated in Denver's Sandwich
"Why don't you make him a sandwich before you go to bed?"
We just made sandwiches with Colby Jack cheese, hard salami, and Miracle Whip.

Victoria's Twice Baked Potatoes
"I've never seen anyone cook potatoes like that before"
We got twice baked potatoes already made from the grocery store.

New York Cosmopolitan
2oz Vodka
1oz Triple Sec
1oz Lime Juice
Fill with Cranberry Juice

Tiramisu Dip
"What's Tiramisu?" "You'll find out." "Tell me.  A woman's gonna want me to do it to her and I won't know what it is."
I actually had Tiramisu Dip mix at home that I added 4 tablespoons of butter and 8oz of cream cheese to.

I used these Almond Marabetti cookies from my Italy Try The World box to dip into the Tiramisu Dip as well as honey graham cracker sticks.

Here's a little pic of our family at the Valentine's Dance with Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome laying down some sick beats... P.S. that's one handsome trombone player!

We did a dinner for The Goonies!  I wish I could take credit with this one but most of the ideas were Tim's!

We had " Let's kill each other over the pepperoni" Pizza, Potato Chip Mess, "Hit Puree" Tomato Salsa, One Eyed Willy's Rich Stuff, "It's wet ain't it" water, Chester Copperpott's Key and Chunk and Sloth's Baby Ruth Rocky Road Ice Cream.

"Let's kill each other over the pepperoni" Pizza
We got a frozen pizza with, of course, pepperoni

Potato Chip Mess with "Hit Puree" Tomato Salsa

One Eyed Willy's Rich Stuff
(Fruit snacks)

"It's Wet Ain't It" Water
We used Iced Tea.

Chester Copperpott's Key
I used my sugar cookie recipe from Toy Story 2.  I rolled out the dough and cut out the shape of the key freehand... which actually turned out pretty great!

Chunk and Sloth's Baby Ruth Rocky Road Ice Cream
I took a Baby Ruth bar and crushed it up on Rocky Road Ice Cream.

We had a great dinner!  Goonies NEVER say die!
