Monster's University Dinner

Here's the themed dinner we did for Monster's University!  We had a great time!  For dinner we had Monster-o's Spiced Breakfast Bars, Monster Toes, Monster Ramen, Monster Energy Drink, and Randall's Be My Pal Cupcakes.

Monster-o's spiced Breakfast bar

I found the recipe from my Disney Christmas Cookbook
I updated a bit - it was pretty good!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of butter
1/3 cup of honey
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 peanut butter
2 cups of Honey Nut Cheerios
1/2 cup of chopped almonds
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13in baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Combine brown sugar, butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.  Make sure it's well combined and butter is melted.
3. Stir in the peanut butter.
4. Add cereal, almonds, and cinnamon to the saucepan and stir to combine.
5. Remove from heat and press mixture into the baking dish- making sure it's evenly spread out among the bottom.
6. Bake for 5-7 minutes.  Let  the mixture cool before cutting it into bars.

Monster Toes

I used this recipe here but I did add purple and orange food coloring to the dough to give it more of a monster look.

Monsters University Homemade Ramen

We made ramen according to package directions.
To spruce it up, add a medium boiled eggs, mushrooms, and chopped green onions.

Monster Energy Drink

Randall's Be My Pal Cupcakes

I got cupcakes from the grocery store and added sugar letters!
