A Bug's Life Dinner

Earlier this year like in the summer, we did a dinner for A Bug's Life!  We had a great time coming up with toddler friendly, easy foods that still fit our theme- NOT AN EASY TASK!

For dinner we had Tuck and Roll's Meat Balls, Gypsy's Moth Winged Pasta, Francis and Heimlich's Fruit Plate, Circus Popcorn (with Walking Sticks, Ants, Peanuts), O- Juice, Dirt Dessert, and Dot's Ice Cream. 

Tuck and Roll's Meat Balls

These are so easy!  It's just 14oz of grape jelly and 14oz of BBQ sauce and cook in a crockpot on low for four hours or until warmed up.

Gypsy's Moth Winged Pasta

We made Moth wings pasta or "Farfalle" with a pink sauce!  (I mixed Alfredo and Red Sauce together and added a little milk and Parmesan)

Circus Popcorn (with Walking Sticks, Ants, Peanuts) 

Francis and Heimlich's Fruit Plate

Using a skewer and a steady hand, place the fruit accordingly and balance the eyes on the grapes.

Dirt Dessert

These are just Snack Pack Pudding Cups, Oreos crushed up, and sour gummy worms.

I found some Dippin' Dots at the grocery store!
