What better time to do a Christmas in July dinner than in July??? Well....maybe Christmas? Anyway, we thought it was a fun time to bust out our Christmas set, watch a fun movie and have breakfast for dinner! Here is our dinner for Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July!
We had Rudolph Breakfast Sandwiches, Aurora Borealis Pancakes, Santa Hats, Fourth of July Juice, and Melted Frosty Dip. We also had... a blast!
Rudolph Breakfast Sandwiches
Tim made up sandwiches with wheat toast, eggs (with a little milk and cheese), bacon, a strawberry nose, and random sugar eyes that I have in my baking station.
Aurora Borealis Pancakes
This is our family pancake recipe (we used it for our Frosty The Snowman dinner)! We used a fun Nordic Ware snowflake pan!
Santa Hats
Slices of banana with slices of strawberries.
Fourth of July Juice
We used Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger Ale, Sprite, and Sprite with a touch of Blue Raspberry Kool-aid.
Melted Frosty Dip
I found this recipe here are changed it up a bit to suit our dinner.
Ingredients:
12oz of Ricotta Cheese
8oz of Marscarpone Cheese
3/4 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
*Extra chocolate chips for the top
Mix ingredients together and top with the extra chocolate chips and serve chilled.
If you want to see dinners for more Rankin Bass specials, We have Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and Frosty The Snowman!
Happy Fourth of July from my cuties!
