Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 Dinner

This is one of the dinners that allows for the most amazing creativity!  Not only that, but it's a great move!  We LOVE Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2!  

            For dinner we had Cheeseburger Spider Sliders, Mini Tacodiles, Barry's Fruit Salad with Dolphin Bananas, A Tomato, Homemade Fruit Cockatiel Cocktail, and Marshmallows for dessert. 

Cheeseburger Spider Sliders

We made Cheeseburger Sliders and used pickles for eyes, fries for legs, and ketchup for it's tongue.

Ingredients:

Mini Taco Shells

Ground Beef 

Taco Seasoning

Black Olives

4 red peppers

1 green pepper

Any other taco toppings you'd like

Directions:

1. Mix Ground Beef and Taco Seasoning in a skillet on medium high heat.  

2. Once cooked, assemble the tacos like the pic below and add peppers for legs. 

3. Top however you see fit!

Barry's Fruit Salad with Dolphin Bananas

I used cloves for the eyes and cut the tip of the banana to look like a dolphin's mouth. 

A Tomato

I made the tomato face out of icing but I definitely wiped it off before we cut it up and put on burgers and chopped up for the tacos.

Homemade Fruit Cockatiel Cocktail

Ingredients:

2 cups of apple juice

1 Tablespoon of lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest

3 cinnamon sticks

1 apple, cored and chopped

1 orange, peeled and sectioned

1 pear, cored and chopped

1.5 chopped pineapple

1/2 cup of green grapes

1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

Directions:

1. Heat apple juice, lemon juice, lemon zest, and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan over medium heat

2.  Bring to a boil and simmer for ten minutes

3. Mix apple, orange, pear, pineapple, and grapes in a pitcher

4. Remove cinnamon sticks from mixture

5. Pour juice into pitcher and add nutmeg
